The first #FriendsLikeMe will take place at the Pretoria Botanical Gardens.
We will have a designated e-hailing drop off zone and safely guarded parking for those driving. If you do plan on drinking, we do ask that you rather use an e-hailing service to avoid drinking & driving.
A live music picnic experience in the Pretoria Botanical Gardens curated by HomeComing Events. The first edition will see performances by R&B sensation Shekhinah as well as legendary singer, songwriter Ringo Madlingozi. The line up boasts with the best of what South Africa has to offer by also including Vinny Da Vinci, Myztro, MasMusiq, King Bash and more.
Your ticket is the most important thing, so make sure to have your ticket with the bar code clearly visible (printed or digital) and present it to security upon arrival.
You can expect what HomeComing has always given you; an experience that will indulge all your senses, from delicious food to spectacular entertainment.
#FriendsLikeMe is what we like to describe as a musical picnic experience with live performances at the beautiful Botanical Gardens, providing the perfect back drop to a lovely afternoon outside with friends.
We, along with our sponsors & service providers, have curated the FULL experience. Therefore, we will have drinks flowing from the 3 bars, Shisha House for all your hubbly requirements and amazing food vendors on site to satisfy all your foodie needs.
You are, however, allowed to bring in a picnic basket containing light snacks and hubbly’s will be allowed at R100 each. NO liquids of any kind (including water) and cooler boxes will be permitted at the venue.
Please note that these items will be confiscated by our team at the entrance.
Of course! There will be seating available. We do encourage everyone, however, to open their minds to the curated experience. No tough guys, only good vibes.
We know you love good merchandise, so, of course our mechandise stand will be open for your convenience. We will have the following items on sale: our commemorative 15 Year Anniversary & #FriendsLikeMe blankets at R220, the #FriendsLikeMe t shirt at R250 and the #FriendsLikeMe sweater at R350. Stocks are limited, so make sure to get yours.
